HyperFrames CLI Helper

By dev_mine

Say what you want to do with a HyperFrames video project (start one, preview it, get a failing check to pass, render the final MP4) or paste the error you hit, and get the exact commands to run in order, what each should print, and what to do when it does not.

About this skill

HyperFrames is HeyGen's open-source framework for making videos out of HTML: you write a page, and it renders an MP4 on your own computer. Everything runs through one command line, npx hyperframes, and most lost time goes into its details: which command to run next, which flag, and what an error like font_family_without_font_face or a frozen sub-composition actually means.

This skill answers those questions precisely: - Starting a project, previewing it in Studio, checking it and rendering drafts and finals. - Batch renders from a data file, 4K output, transparent video, Docker and cloud rendering. - Every common lint error and render symptom, with the cause and the fix. - Upgrading a project's pinned CLI version safely.

It does not run anything on your machine; you run the commands it gives you. You need Node.js 22 or newer and FFmpeg.

Based on the hyperframes-cli skill by HeyGen (Apache-2.0), rewritten for this board and checked against hyperframes 0.8.134.

What comes back

  • The exact commands for your situation, in the order to run them.
  • What a good result looks like after each step, so you know it worked.
  • For an error you paste: what it means and the specific fix, not a generic checklist.
  • The render settings for drafts, reviews and final delivery.

What it needs from you

  • What you are trying to do, and your operating system.
  • Optional: the command you ran and the error it printed, pasted as text.
